Blockchain technology is of interest to a large number of African companies
There is still a lag compared to encryption centers in Europe, but companies specializing in Blockchain technology in Sudan, Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya are growing more and more. BitHub Africa, based in Nairobi, offers its services to local start-ups. The company provides consulting services to organizations interested in deploying Blockchain solutions in Africa.

In South Africa, there is the Blockchain Academy offering training on crypto-currencies and Blockchain technology to local entrepreneurs. Other companies have also emerged in Sudan and Nigeria.

Look at real issues
To date, the adoption of Blockchain has been relatively weak in Africa. In addition, new uses of this technology are addressing real social, economic and political problems affecting hundreds of millions of people every day.

One of the main advantages of this technology is that it is decentralized and transparent. It thus makes it possible to fight effectively against corruption. In the last elections in Sierra Leone, the Swiss company Agora exploited the power of Blockchain to ensure a fair count of votes. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies are also useful for the economy.
